Hit points gained as a result of this ability stack with themselves. From Official D&D Minis Clarifications: Q. I don't understand why the Vampire Aristocrat has four uses of the expeditious retreat spell if it lasts the entire skirmish but cannot be cast on allies. Why bother giving him more than one expeditious retreat spell?
A. The Vampire Aristocrat has the Sorcerer Spells ability, so it doesn't have four uses of just the expeditious retreat spell. It has four 1st-level spell slots that it can use for either the expeditious retreat spell or the magic missile spell. See the glossary definition of Sorcerer Spells for more information.
NOTE: Surprisingly, this comes up *really* often. It won't be added to the WotC FAQ, so I'll keep it here for posterity. Note to self: It came up twice again.
